Alumni Resource Center

The Alumni Resource Center, created with funding from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, has been maintained and administered by American Councils for International Education since 2002.

The Alumni Resource Center, with its convenient location near several universities, plays an important role for the community of alumni of all ECA sponsored exchange programs. It is a permanent place to gather, share experiences, exchange information and implement various projects. The Resource Center is a central place for alumni to distribute information and to network. The center also has small-scale conference facilities for conducting various seminars and trainings, and is often used for such things as pre-departure orientation and re-entry seminars, resume building and career planning courses.
The Center houses ten computers for use by alumni of all U.S. government sponsored exchange programs, and one for the on-duty administrator in the Center. Alumni find the computers invaluable for continuing contacts with former host families, friends and colleagues in the United States, writing resumes and applying for jobs, conferences, university programs and scholarships, and also for
conducting research projects and writing papers.
